All International Students at London International Academy (LIA) must write both an English Proficiency Placement Test and a Math Placement Test. Once completed and graded, the Principal and the Head of that department will place the student in an appropriate level English or Math course.  No preparation is required and is discouraged.  The purpose of the assessments is to ensure that applicants and new students are placed in the appropriate level and have the academic skills to succeed in their courses.
