London International Academy (LIA) has a friendly and helpful Academic Counseling Staff that is ready to help each student with the often stressful and confusing process of preparing for University.
A series of training sessions are provided to make sure every student will submit the on-line application completely and successfully.
Universities across Canada come to LIA and run information sessions to introduce their university, admission requirements and other important topics related to the university application process. Besides general introduction, students are able to discuss questions and concerns with the representatives after each session. These sessions help students get a clear picture of the specific requirement for each University. This year the University of Waterloo, University of Western Ontario, and the University of British Columbia are some of the many schools that came to visit LIA.
Throughout the year, our staff is in charge of various duties related to university application, such as contacting the school office to get specific information on behalf of the students. Our aim is to assist our students in making a wise and appropriate decision on the universities and program selection.
