London International Academy’s “Canadian Buddy System (CBS)” helps LIA students adjust to Canadian life and get to know local high school students. Students who want to participate in CBS are matched with other students from the London area who share common interests. It is a peer-to-peer mentoring program where the students will spend time outside of the classroom doing fun activities and simultaneously practice their English in a more natural setting.
